“Edward provided a wonderful overview of key sites, the university colleges, and of course the intriguing history. Questions were encouraged and thoroughly answered.
Don’t miss this if you are new to Oxford!”

WELCOME!
I’m Edward Taylor, and I would love to make a ‘Taylor made’ tour for you, either here in Oxford where I live, or in the beautiful surroundings of the Cotswolds, Stratford, or further afield to Cheltenham, Bath or Stonehenge.
As a qualified Blue Badge guide for the Heart of England and a Green Badge city guide for Oxford, I’ve been leading tours for three years. My tours are fun, informative, and personalised to the needs of my visitors from all over the world. I’m happy to welcome families, students, and groups large and small. So if you’ve ever wanted to see the dreaming spires of Oxford, sample a cream tea in a Cotswold village, or follow in the footsteps of William Shakespeare, I can make it happen.
As a guide my aim is for you to make the most of your visit, with as little stress as possible. As well as guiding you around the cultural highlights and natural wonders I can also find you the best restaurants, accommodation and transport, and create individual itineraries so you have the right amount of time to spend in each.
When I’m not leading guided tours I enjoy more walking in my free time, in the countryside around Oxford, or along the coastal paths of England. As a resident of Oxford since 2001 I like to get around the city by bicycle – something I have in common with most of the students here!
I look forward to seeing you soon in Oxford and the Heart of England!
